Saturday May 9, 2009. <\/em> On 3-26-09, I wrote at<\/span> Organizing My Finances, Script From Think and Grow Rich<\/a> my script for how much income I wanted to bring in the next month. When I write these scripts, I use a dollar figure that is increasingly more than I typically make<\/em>. \u00a0 I just did a tally of the income for that period and sent my brother a copy of the report showing the total.\u00a0 When I ran it, at first I thought that made me just $188.29 short of my goal and I was excited to be so close.\u00a0 Then I realized I did not add in the $500 I get for a rental unit I own, which goes into a different account.\u00a0 So my total for that time period was $311.71 over what I had requested and planned for.\u00a0 Once again, the process worked like a charm.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the best things I’ve ever done for financial management is paying all bills as they come in.\u00a0 I used to stick them in the calendar a week ahead of the due date, yet then I always felt pressured seeing the calendar stuffed full of bills to pay.\u00a0 I wrote about it at<\/span> The Time Consuming Part Of My Job<\/a>.\u00a0 So now, I just order a check as soon as the bill comes in.\u00a0 That way I don’t have to worry about “what’s due, what’s coming due, how much is it?<\/em>”\u00a0 It took a big load off my mind when I made that simple change, and I simply never thought of doing it earlier.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m all about whatever takes one more thing off my mind, one more task I can accomplish on auto-pilot.\u00a0 And I’ve discovered that writing the Think and Grow Rich script each month helps my income come in on auto-pilot.\u00a0 Here’s my script I wrote just now for May.<\/span><\/p>\n

5-9-09 Script<\/span><\/h2>\n

First. Go into some quiet spot (preferably in bed at night) where you will not be disturbed or interrupted, close your eyes, and repeat aloud, (so you may hear your<\/span> own words) the written statement of the amount of money you intend to accumulate, the time limit for its accumulation, and a description of the service or merchandise you intend to give in return for the money. As you carry out these instructions, SEE YOURSELF ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MONEY.<\/span><\/p>\n

“By May 31, 2009, I will have in my possession $_____ (put an amount that is at least 25% more than you make right now), which will come to me in various amounts from time to time between now and then.<\/span><\/p>\n

This money may come as a return on an investment, or an offer to purchase some of my land, or in return for this money I will give ad space, mp3 files, cds, or personal services of which I am capable. New advertisers are calling to place ads and I am attracting some good corporate clients.\u00a0 Clients are hiring me for work I have already substantially done, so it\u2019s easy money for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can even win money in the lottery and have a winning streak with that.\u00a0 There are a lot of ways the money can come in, ways I have no way of knowing right now.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that I will have this money in my possession. My faith is so strong that I can now see this money before my eyes. I can touch it with my hands. It is now awaiting transfer to me at the time, and in the proportion that I deliver the service I intend to render in return for it. I am awaiting a plan by which to accumulate this money, and I will follow that plan, when it is received.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Second. Repeat this program night and morning until you can see, (in your imagination) the money you intend to accumulate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Third. Place a written copy of your statement where you can see it night and morning, and read it just before retiring, and upon arising until it has been memorized.<\/span><\/p>\n

That’s it, that’s the process. <\/em> Then I keep that list in the kitchen and in the bathroom and read it over a few times a day.\u00a0 I don’t strain over memorizing it or repeating it like an affirmation in my head.\u00a0 I simply read it over and let my unconscious begin to do its work.\u00a0 I read it over and let the law of attraction do its work.\u00a0 Even if you don’t think it’s working, it’s working on you internally.\u00a0 Thinking those words and saying them to yourself is a trigger for getting the process in motion.<\/span><\/p>\n
