Live and learn.<\/em>&#8221; \u00a0 My\u00a0friend Terri Mermis \u00a0said, &#8220;If no one ever brings you down, how would you ever have a chance to rise above it all and pat yourself on the back for recognizing they have no power over your feelings unless you give it away to them. Every moment is happy if you choose to perceive it that way. So much easier to live and let live, you have nothing to learn from someone being unkind, the lesson is for them.
