As healthy a diet as I have, and as little processed food and meat that I eat, I have retained one guilty pleasure.\u00a0 In fact, I have just rediscovered it after several years away.\u00a0 I used to never cook with canned soup.\u00a0 I would eat Campbell&#8217;s canned cream of mushroom soup as a soup but never cooked with it.\u00a0 Except this one dish my mom used to make.\u00a0 Now that Campbell&#8217;s has changed their soup recipe, it is a relatively low fat dish. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I take a package boneless, skinless chicken thighs and chop them in thirds.<br \/>\nOne can of Campbell&#8217;s Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic soup.<br \/>\n1\/4 can of water.<\/p>\n<p>Put the soup and water in the bottom of a shallow baking dish and mix it up.<br \/>\nPut the chicken into the mixture and coat it well with the soup.<br \/>\nTurn the oven on to 450 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Wash your hands and everything the chicken touched, including the oven dial.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinkle on top of the chicken casserole dish some:<br \/>\nsea salt<br \/>\ncoarse ground black pepper<br \/>\n1 tbsp. oregano flakes<br \/>\n1 tbsp. powered garlic<\/p>\n<p>Put in the oven for 30 minutes at 450 degrees<br \/>\nThen turn the chicken over in the pan<br \/>\nCook for another 20 minutes at 350 degrees<\/p>\n<p>This is really good served over rice or noodles.<\/p>\n<p>You can even quarter some potatoes and put in the pan with the chicken.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve even put carrots, bell pepper and onion in for the last 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<div id=\"s-share-buttons\" class=\"horizontal-w-c-circular s-share-w-c\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php?u=http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/eating-one-guilty-pleasure-remains\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Share to Facebook\" class=\"s3-facebook hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?text=Eating; one guilty pleasure remains&url=http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/eating-one-guilty-pleasure-remains\/\" target=\"_blank\"  title=\"Share to Twitter\" class=\"s3-twitter hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/plus.google.com\/share?url=http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/eating-one-guilty-pleasure-remains\/\" target=\"_blank\"  title=\"Share to Google Plus\" class=\"s3-google-plus hint--top\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/shareArticle?mini=true&url=http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/eating-one-guilty-pleasure-remains\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Share to LinkedIn\" class=\"s3-linkedin hint--top\"><\/a><div class=\"pinit-btn-div\"><a href=\"\/\/www.pinterest.com\/pin\/create\/button\/\" data-pin-do=\"buttonBookmark\"  data-pin-color=\"red\" title=\"Share to Pinterest\" class=\"s3-pinterest hint--top\"><\/a><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<script type=\"text\/javascript\" async defer src=\"\/\/assets.pinterest.com\/js\/pinit.js\"><\/script><a href=\"mailto:?Subject=Eating;%20one%20guilty%20pleasure%20remains&Body=Here%20is%20the%20link%20to%20the%20article:%20http:\/\/horizonsmagazine.com\/blog\/eating-one-guilty-pleasure-remains\/\" title=\"Email this article\" class=\"s3-email hint--top\"><\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
