Spirit releasement is among the most important work that a psychic medium can perform, helping direct earthbound entities into the Light.\u00a0 I received a call from an engineer at Harris who told me he didn’t believe in this stuff but suddenly his house is haunted and he was referred to me by an unnamed mutual friend who said I can banish demons and bad spirits.<\/em> Not what I’d put on my resume, but I told him I’d \u00a0check it out. \u00a0\u00a0I met with\u00a0Domino<\/a>, a 30 something very conservative, left brained engineer, his wife, her grandmother and their 8 year old daughter. \u00a0 We sat at the dining table and I explained what we’d spend the next hour or two doing. \u00a0When I feel their response to what I’m saying, that helps me know how to word things so they understand.\u00a0 Their understanding of the process is a factor in how successful the house clearing will be. \u00a0Once the solution becomes clear in consciousness, the problem disappears on its own.<\/p>\n

After the briefing, I did some preliminary setting out of water and salt at the open doorways, then we all joined hands at the table and began saying the Lord’s Prayer together. \u00a0Almost as if on cue, the dishes in the kitchen cabinets began to rattle and the doors on the cabinets began to shake. “That’s what they do,” Domino’s wife said as she broke the circle, got up and took her daughter out of the house. \u00a0I explained ahead of time there might be some spooky looking stuff going on but that it was all natural and nothing to be afraid of. \u00a0She said if she felt nervous, she would go wait in the garden until we were done, so that’s where she went. \u00a0The remaining three of us again joined hands and said the Lord’s Prayer three times without incident.<\/p>\n

Then we took a walk through the house to see what was what. \u00a0It was quickly clear there was a new presence attached to a desk. \u00a0After asking about it, it turned out he’d gotten it a few weeks earlier at a garage sale. \u00a0He agreed it was about that time that he started to feel haunted<\/em> but he had not connected the two before. \u00a0In addition to the dishes rattling, he would hear sounds of walking and opening doors and cabinets, he would smell cigar smoke, but when he looked, there was nothing there.<\/p>\n

I suggested we move the desk out of the house to work on it. \u00a0He did not want to touch it, so the grandmother and I carried it out to the garden. \u00a0It was a beautiful dark wood and we cleaned it with oil and vinegar, then smudged it and did the releasement ritual and left it in the sun while we went back into the house.<\/p>\n

The grandmother was about my age and I felt very energetically supported by her presence. \u00a0The greater part of her knew what was going on and was participating. \u00a0Domino, on the other hand, clearly did not like having his world changed in this way. \u00a0We proceeded through the rest of the house, clearing and sealing room by room. \u00a0The house was immaculately clean and orderly, so it was a pleasure to walk through.<\/p>\n

We brought the desk back into the house and you could tell it felt differently. \u00a0He didn’t want it back inside, though, so we ended up putting it at the end of the laundry area in the garage. \u00a0I made him help us carry it, so he could see how it felt and see there was nothing to be afraid of with the desk itself.<\/p>\n

The weird sounds and smells did not happen the next night, nor the next, nor since. \u00a0Domino told me he didn’t know what was going on and he didn’t believe in any of this, but it definitely felt better since we did whatever we did. \u00a0He didn’t even want to know what we really just did<\/em>, he said. \u00a0I find that’s often best. \u00a0People get freaked out by things that\u00a0transcend their familiar band of perception. \u00a0Sometimes you don’t need a long explanation, you just need to be open to the fact that there is simply a greater reality. \u00a0And it’s nothing to be afraid of.<\/p>\n
