When you decide enough is enough and give notice at the wrong job, you make room for the right job to find you

When I’m not glued to Facebook, that means I’m away from the computer having real life adventures. This past week has been a week of synchronicities and adventures being in the vortex.  My friend Domino had an upcoming expense and I asked a friend if she had a few day’s work for him and we were stoked that she did. Domino has been looking for a job for several months.  He was grateful for the work he was given, and it served to provide him with enough contrast that he was able to get clear on what it was he wanted as far as long term employment.  We often talk about what he’s looking for as far as work and he didn’t always have strong opinions.  However, nine hours after working in a hot, stuffy, crowded area he came home with blisters on both hands and degenerative discs barking.

The next day on the way to work, he listened to a cd of Abraham-Hicks as we’d recently been talking about vibrational resonance.  They talked about releasing resistance and thinking the better feeling thought in times of unwanted emotion.  I had the best morning I’d had in a long time, moving furniture around and feeling very in the vortex.  I got a call from Domino at 1:00pm to pick him up from work.  He’d decided this was not the work for him. When he checked caller id at home after his return, he saw a call at 1:16pm from a local store he’d sent an application to.  There was no voice mail, but he dialed the number back.  It was indeed the personnel department and they asked if he could come in for an interview and he said yes.  It was an almost instant manifestation: as soon as he decided that he would no longer do the heavy, uncomfortable and painful work he was doing,  within 16 minutes he gets a call about a job he’d been hoping for.  He was immediately available for the first two interviews and the drug test.  Had he stayed at the prior job after deciding it was not what he vibed with, he would have not been available for the better fit of the job he’d prefer.

Contrast really helps us define what we don’t want, so that we can more clearly see what we do want. And even better?  When friends understand their own part in the attraction of all the circumstances, and we can can all laugh together at the cosmic play of it all.
