The Heineken ad is a good experiment

This was a good experiment. “Describe what it’s like to be you in 5 adjectives. Name 3 things you and I have in common.” What do you do when you’ve been brought up to believe everything is black and white then you discover everything ISN’T black and white? Ignore the clickbait title, this video won’t leave questioning everything, you’ll simply be more aware that there’s more than the eye can see. http://www.globetoday.com/this-controversial-beer-ad-is-going-viral-and-itll-leave-you-questioning-everything/    I saw this video going around and ignored it since no one said anything about it to make me want to watch.  The experiment is this: People sign up for an activity and project they know nothing about. They describe themselves on camera and are paired with someone with an opposing viewpoint. They walk into a warehouse and are given written instructions which they must follow. (They don’t yet know it but they’ll be building a bar.) They bond during the project as they help each other suss thru the instructions. Afterward they watch a short video, which is a repeat of their to-the-camera description of themselves before they began the experiment. They discover they have opposing viewpoints. They get the choice to leave right then or sit and have a Heineken and talk it over.
