The Days of the Week
SATURDAY IS SATURN'S DAY - a day to direct our attention toward routine chores and personal responsibilities, a good day for furthering our ambitions through perseverance, patience, responsible action, and a sense of purpose. Ask yourself some questions:
How are you doing?
Saturday is a good day for rest and relaxation, forming goals, and for giving and receiving recognition. It’s a day to formulate new beginnings, new projects and ideas. What’s next for you?
THE NEW MOON. Meditation at the New Moon is excellent for seeding intention. The new moon is the birthing cycle of the moon’s various phases. It is an optimal time for planning and seeding your intentions. Seedlings need a period of gestation before they break through the soil and reach for the sunlight. This is also true for our ideas and our desires. The dark side of the moon, with its mysterious unseen forces, offers a nurturing environment where our intentions can establish roots before their miraculous manifestations begin to sprout and reach out to the stars. It is a good practice to rededicate your list of intentions each month when another new moon visits.
Here is a New Moon Manifestation Ceremony for you
THE FULL MOON. Full Moon is an opportune time for purging rituals to take place. The full moon completes the cycle, representing death, change, or tying up loose ends. The full moon symbolizes the end chapter, shedding light on the things that we no longer need to hold on to. The light the full moon offers illuminates things that are interfering with our spiritual advancement. Once we have become enlightened to ways that are blocking us, the easier to let go. The full moon ritual is for releasing or purging the things in our lives that no longer serve us such as addictions to food, drugs, or sex, relinquishing suffering involved in hurtful relationships, discharging physical and emotional pains, etc.
TUESDAY IS MARS' DAY - a day to crank out the donuts, a day to take action to achieve goals. Mars is the planet of action and the expression of will through activity. Mars represents strength, determination and achievement. People born on this day show the qualities of Mars, Aries, Scorpio, and Pluto. This ties Tuesday with ideas of strife, battles to be won, pressing issues and jobs to be done. Tuesday is a good day to settle long-standing issues with authority figures. It's a good day to pay attention to your physical body: working out, getting bodywork done, taking a long walk, dancing in your nightgown under the moon. Statistics show that more work gets done on Tuesday than any other day of the week. Buckle down and crank out the donuts, because after Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF.
WEDNESDAY IS MERCURY'S DAY. After Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF. Wednesday is the best day of the week for throat chakra work: communication and making connections, returning phone calls, holding meetings, saying what needs to be said. On hump day, we analyze our efforts so far during the week, and we pay attention to details. It’s a good day to refine plans and map out strategy, to bring intent into our conscious awareness. Wednesday is a day to collect information, learn the basics, handle several things at once, maintain mental control over your environment. Today Mercury helps you stay organized and detail oriented, no matter what is going on around you.
* treat yourself to fresh flowers or a new plant
Friday is also a day to release old disputes. Let quarrels go today.
