FEBRUARY 1998
Hello everyone, and welcome to the February 98 issue of Horizons Magazine! The theme of the conference was Prophecies for the New Millennium, and Opening Circle began with 33 of us and more came as the day wore on. Since Doug Davis of Touchstone Magazine in Gainesville had vibrated in harmony with having a flu, his body gave him one, so he did not appear as planned. Sileade Silva of Moon Eagle began the conference by reminding us that in 1998, "You create what you'll experience. Your thoughts today create your experience tomorrow. So, if you're afraid of what's going on with the Earth, that's what you'll experience. If what you want isn't happening, you create that also. You can create your own hell or your own heaven. Your choices create. Your God walks with you on a daily basis - you are not alone, there is no separation. If you're concerned and worried about the future, change yourself. You are responsible for what you invoke. If you create something, it's your responsibility to deal with it." "We're all connected." she says, "It's a real awakening to know you affect everything." Jorge Marquez of Peru spoke of the Incan prophecies wherein 2012 is the time "when our ancestors from the heavens will join us and there will be an awakening within us. We're being asked to prepare ourselves." "Healing is at your command," he states," You are responsible for the movement of Spirit through you. As we begin to open that door, the entire mansion is there for us. As we connect with this inner reality, our guidance will become stronger and aid us against the forces of confusion." He spoke of the Sun and its correlations, and cited Mayan and Hopi prophecies. Lyman Rowan has had such a remarkable life that Wayne Dyer uses him in his talks as an example of someone overcoming challenges! He's had 4 near death experiences, been struck by lightning, had third degree burns. He reminds us that "each takes a different journey and a separate path. We're here to Know God, to love people unconditionally and to help others." Speaking of miracles and coincidences, he says, "When you hear a quiet voice, listen and do something about it." He said after the first NDE, that he was shown a life review and that "you experience every emotion in the chain of how what you did affected other people, and how they affected other people." This experience lost him all fear of death and showed him what was important to him. He now works with Hospice, and helps people who are in the process of crossing over. He says we're here to "learn to understand the power of Love and help others."
Dr. Nieves Stewart of Orlando and Puerto Rico spoke of becoming a Warrior for Peace and Love, and developing spiritual disciplines such as integrity, patience, compassion, humility, wisdom and endurance. She said that we have to see through other eyes to see the sacred in everyone and everything. She finished with a wonderful green light meditation to manifest the feeling of Love. We all felt it, too!
About the proposed Earth Changes, she says, "give thought only to what you want to experience. Your thought of hope will help anchor others who are fearful. This will be a year of releasing of material items and fulfilling old things you've neglected to take care of. Whatever your circumstances are, realize that you attracted it and realize what a good manifestor you are. Then rescript it and change it if it's not what you want." Michaiel Bovenes suggested, "Create a life worth living. We're all seeking and searching for healing and the answer can be found within. All of us are on a metaphysical journey, we use our metaphysics to delve deep into our Spirit, to reunite and rekindle our spiritual powers. Spirituality is not what I do once a week, "he states, "Spirituality is a function of how I live my life. It's easy to love a God I find in a book, the spiritual challenge is to love the piece of God we find in other people. We can know ourselves and know God through love or through absence of love, it's our choice. You can decide to become loving now. Bring awareness into every moment - is your life going to be a dream or a nightmare?" Michaiel closed the conference with a guided meditation, stating, "I care, I care about me and my future. I care about my friends and loved ones. It's time to focus on what's right with us. As you go into 1998, feel the power and beauty and strength of that future, be a spark of Light in a world that wants to think of itself as dark." So, all in all, it appears that 1998 is a year for taking responsibility, for knowing that your thoughts create, and for knowing that you are divinely guided at all times. In this light, for this Valentine's Day, I'd like everyone to take a look at their love interest and decide if what they have created is what they want to continue living. You attracted it, and you can either help it flourish or help change it into what you'd prefer. Plus I'd like to note that not everyone has to have a partner. Not everyone wants a partner, people can actually be totally fulfilled by having a variety of projects and/or platonic friends. So if you don't have a partner this Valentine's Day, take yourself on a trip to the beach or for a picnic alone. Take your journal, a favorite book and perhaps some incense or fragrance oil. Spend a few hours just writing down any changes you're contemplating, and maybe daydreaming about how nice these changes might be when they happen. Or spend the day working on a favorite project or craft, or go buy a box of Mr. Bubble and have a giant bubble bath while soft music plays. Buy some marshmallows and toast them outside on the hibachi, pretend no neighbors can see you and camp out in your backyard for the weekend. Or go to the video store and rent Dear God, Contact and Sirens and watch them all in one afternoon eating popcorn on a blanket on the floor. This being alone can be fun! Plus, we're never really alone, so spend time talking to your angels, guides and teachers, even if you aren't really sure you believe in all that stuff. It couldn't hurt. |
