JANUARY 2006 our freezie weather makes me want to scamper around outside.
Hello and welcome to the January 2006 issue of Horizons Magazine. Are you loving the I love it when I can learn something new that opens an entirely new field of possibilities for me. It lets me see myself in a new way and broadens my perception about who I am and what I am capable of. In that vein, Abraham-Hicks has a new book out The Amazing Power Of Deliberate Intention by Jerry & Esther Hicks. Hayhouse has a contest giveaway going on (see page 34) and 5 lucky winners will receive a copy of the new book. Be sure to enter! Since I spent so much time this month on the audio series, I didn't write an editorial BUT as always happens on the last day, I had a great email question come in that I'll share with you. This was a great reminder for me also, to remember what I know and to put it into practice. Question: What I want to know is: what might I be doing/thinking/feeling to attract the behaviors in other people that I get repeatedly in my life, such as no-shows, broken commitments, non-returned phone calls, unreliable people, even getting threatened and cussed out! My word is good, and I don't make commitments that I cannot keep, so I'm not aware of anything I might be doing to attract this. Thank you in advance, Madeline in Miami. Andrea: One thing you might consider is that even though YOU don't do those things, you might be NOTICING and bringing to mind when that has happened in the past, and you might even be unconsciously anticipating it happening with certain new people.
Personal story: I've been a fairly happy person with no problems or drama in my life for the last dozen years. I never had a problem with clients calling on time for a psychic reading until a couple of years ago. When a phone reading wants to pay by check, I have them send it to me ahead of time, so by the time we have the reading, the check is in my hand and I don't deposit it until after the call. 1. I love learning new skills, even though I may not love the process that teaches it to me.. 2. I can make time for whatever is important to me. When I'm working on something I love doing, time just expands and I have all I need to get it all done. 3. I can become oblivious to things that are right around me that I have stopped noticing. Like when I had to keep re-recording because I could hear squirrels chattering and cars driving in the background if I was outside, or I could hear my cats eating their crunchy dry food or jumping around knocking papers over if I was inside. I didn't notice them at the time but heard it when I reviewed the recordings afterward. One time I tried closing the door to the room I was in and then you could hear them putting their paws under the door and rattling it to get inside, or caterwauling at the window to get in. Too funny! 4. I attract behavior from other people by how I perceive them and how I perceive in general my world around me. 5. I can get my own self out of my own stuff if I can remember I'm in it and do the process for deactivating it.
Enjoy our offering this month. Hari Om.
